Emporio Armani Diamond for Men

I have been debating if I should post about the new cologne from Emporio Armani, Diamond. Obviously I have decided to. You have probably seen the commercials with Josh Harnett but I personally vouch for this one. I love this cologne. The price tag, however, has vexed me for a long time now (approx $70/not sure what size but its the reg. one). I have had Emporios classic Aqua di Gio for a few years now but "recently" (6months ago..lol) I broke my bottle. I have had to search the virtually limitless amount of colognes out now. I have finally made my decision on Diamond. The classic, clean and mature feel of emporios colognes have left me no other option. Now all I need is a loan and I'll be all good.

Heres a little info on Diamond:
EA Diamonds for Men was created Jacques Cavallier of Firmenich. It contains gourmet-woody aromatic juicy, with an unusual gourmet reversal in the top notes. (OK??) The perfume opens with sparkling, sweet aromas of bergamot(roughly pear-shaped fragrant citrus fruit native to Southeastern Asia), with Guaiac(small, ornamental plants grown in Fl. and Ca.), vetiver (fixative), cedar, Szechuan pepper, cocoa and ambroxan(ambergris(fixative) replacement odorant in perfume manufacturing).
The bottle was designed by the man himself, Giorgio Armani.
The perfume is available on the market in the amount of 30, 50 and 75ml EDT, as 75 ml aftershave, 200 ml bath and 75 ml deo stick.

The birth of something fresh...

I really wanna know what goes on in Lil' Wayne's head. This track is called "Hot Revolver," and, as far as I know, it's supposed to be on his up coming album The Carter III: The Rebirth. You may ask: why not just Tha Carter IV? Well, that's coming too. Wikipedia explains it best: "Wayne wants Tha Carter IV to be 'what everyone wants Tha Carter IV to be.' He feels that the album he has ready is something 'brand new' and 'experimental', and he said that 'some people are not gonna like this, and I don't want them to not like Tha Carter IV.' So instead of releasing the album under Tha Carter IV title, Wayne said he plans to release it as, Tha Carter III: The Rebirth, the birth of a new beginning." It also goes on to paraphrase Kanye as saying that the album should be out in time for Christmas. Wayne can really do no wrong in my book (he and Kanye made auto-tune sound dope, sorry T-Pain), so I'm actually pretty stoked to hear this "experimental" album. Should be ill.
Get "Hot Revolver" here (oh and sorry for the annoying DJ talking all over it, it's the only version that's out anywhere).

Yeah, another Wale remix.

I first heard Colin Munroe last February, when I downloaded his cover of Kanye's "Flashing Lights." I thought the track was pretty dope, so, naturally, I was interested when I saw this new track online...it's a remix of Colin's track "Will I Stay" featuring Wale. If you're at all a fan of either Colin or Wale you might wanna check it out. Colin's mixtape Colin Munroe Is The Unsung Hero is supposed to drop December 1st, so I'll be on the lookout for that one.

Get "Will I Stay (Remix ft. Wale)" here.

Also, here's the video for Colin's "Flashing Lights" Remix.

Hype on Wale x LRG x 9th Wonder present: Back To The Feature

I Beast for the Hype.
Wale is finally dropping some new material. LRG, 9th Wonder and Wale have joined forces to hit us hard with some of that hot shhhhh....lol. Anyways, if you don't know who Wale or 9th Wonder are you'd better get informed. Wale is the one of the most influential rappers to hit my musical library in recent history. His Mixtape 100 Miles and Running mixed by Nick Catchdubs is still set to repeat on my ipod. This heavy hitter will take another step into the mainstream consciousness when he drops this new mixtape that is being produced by 9th Wonder. 9th Wonder has worked with everyone from The Cool Kids to Destiny's Child. He is known for his seemless Al Green and Curtis Mayfield samples. Back To The Feature is not going to stray from this. He has already remixed "Short Eyes" by Curtis Mayfield. "Short Eyes" has been used by a number of rappers including Wale ("Back in the Go Go" and "Vacation From Ourselves") and Jay-z (American Gangster). The tracklist has not been released as of yet but the buzz is huge for this one (crazy features and all-star samples). This tape should be released within the next month. For now though check out "Delivery Man"(9th Wonder Remix) by The Cool Kids and the first single off of Back to The Feature: "5 Minutes" by Wale feat Skyzoo. Duffy's "Warwick Ave" feat Wale will also be on the mixtape. Download all three tracks here. (check the file name and description of the download....fresh, fresh)
Check out the streeming cut of Curtis Mayfield's "Short Eyes":

If you liked Viva La Hova...

Here's the video for Coldplay's song "Lost+" (as opposed to the original: Lost!, which was on their most recent album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends). This "+" version features Jay-Z, but this isn't a mash-up like the Viva La Hova mixtape, it's an actual collabo, and it will be on their upcoming Prospekt's March EP.

Im Sorry Yeezy

Recently, Beyonce was on SNL and one of their skits involved her new "Single Ladies" Video. To begin with, I think that the original video is very innovative. The singular theme of the three ladies dancing in contrast to the everchanging lighting and camera variation make the video a must see. Kanye was definitely the main force behind the "Re-Birth of the Music Video" but you have to give credit to Beyonce and Jake Nava (director) for this one. Oh yea...have I mentioned how hot Beyonce is......cough cough......i mean Mrs. Carter.....sorry Jay.

Right off Kanye's blog:

Re-make of "Single Ladies" feat Paul Rudd, Justin Timberlake, Andy Samberg and some other dude

The Death of Adam: 88-Keys

I think it is finally time to post about The Death of Adam by 88-Keys. This dropped a few weeks ago but there weren't any torrents for a quick minute. I actually caved and picked it up on itunes...$9.99. There are a few torrents floating around the internet now so you should be fine. I definitely recommend downloading this. 88-Keys (if you dont already know) is a dope producer that has worked with the likes of Kanye, Talib, and Def. Check "Stay Up!" on the cd to get a little bit of Yeezy. The cd is obviously about the death of adam, a normal guy that got caught up in the moment with one night stand and eventually died as a result. The disc covers every step of his adventure, from the night with this chick to....well you know. 88-Key's uses tons of fresh jazz and soul samples to get this story through to his audience.

"She had a burning bush...wow!" lol
